Patience Really Is a Virtue
I'm developing a new exercise with the working title "Patience Really Is a Virtue." Here's a working draft. Please have fun with the exercise, and send me your feedback!
Patience Really Is a Virtue
Think of a time you wish you had exercised more patience. Write down the interaction, and what you think the consequences were. Be really descriptive, so that someone reading this story could really step into your place and feel what you did.
Now rewrite the story the way you would have preferred to act and respond, with the consequences you think would have happened. How does the outcome compare to reality? Is there a big difference?
Finally, write down an action you can take to either improve your patience in a similar situation in the future, or to help mend the current situation.
