Social Networking and Collaborative Law Process
Right now I am at the Memphis Bar Association Bench/Bar conference in Destin, FL and it is fascinating how things have changed since I first attended this conference 4 years ago!
Yesterday, Scott Crosby (President of the Memphis Collaborative Alliance) and I spoke at a workshop on Collaborative Law Process and Therapeutic Jurisprudence. Though the crowd was small, interest was high and we had one of the trial court judges from our judicial district attended. Her comment about collaborative law was "this is just perfect". After the session several of the attorneys came up to us wanting to attend a collaborative process training and joining the Lawyers as Peacemakers, Lawyers as Problemsolvers group.
Currently I am in a session called Social Networking for attorneys. What a difference a few years make!
