First of 10 juvenile drug courts starts work at Pine Bluff, Arkansas
PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) — The first state drug court for juveniles is up and running in Pine Bluff. A total of 10 of the drug courts for youthful offenders are scheduled be funded by July 2010.
In addition to Pine Bluff, drug courts in Benton, Garland, Ouachita and Saline counties are to start getting state money in July, along with another court in north Arkansas, likely in Batesville.
Scheduled for funding next year are courts in Drew, Lee, Van Buren and Washington counties.
