Pause for Transformation
IAHL's mission is to transform the practice of law, through education and support of holistic practice.
The only living being capable of completely transforming, down to its DNA, is the butterfly. It starts as an egg, a small ball of potential. Then the egg hatches and becomes a caterpillar. The caterpillar eats and grows and molts and eats and grows and molts some more. When it's done growing, the caterpillar retreats into its chrysalis, where the magic happens. After this transformation, it is a completely different entity, with colorful wings and the gift of flight.
Which stage are you at, in your lifecycle as a holistic lawyer? Are you an egg, still developing enough to hatch and explore the world? Or are you a caterpillar, consumed with the routine of daily life and law practice, yet still growing? Have you gone inward, convinced there is a different way, hoping that you might be able to fly? Are you struggling to leave a cocoon? Or are you a butterfly, sharing your beauty and wisdom freely as you fly and flit about? Are you generating the "butterfly effect," gently flapping your wings, starting a chain reaction leading to large-scale change?
Wherever you are, IAHL exists to support you in your transformation. That's our mission, and that's why we hope you'll join us at our 2011 Conference, celebrating IAHL's 20th year, and looking forward to What's Next for holistic law.
Register today to claim your space at Asilomar, in our butterfly garden. And be sure to add-on Cutting Edge Law's pre-conference program, "Managing Attention: A Model for Conscious Interaction."
Help us grow our butterfly garden - send butterfly wings to an IAHL member or conference attendee. There's no limit to the number of wings you can send, so honor as many people as you want!
For $10 each, recipients will have their own sets of butterfly wings prominently displayed on their conference name badges. If the person you're sending wings to can't attend the conference, we'll send a "virtual" set of wings via email.
