Excerpt: The Juvenile Justice Intervention Clinic seeks to provide a different service in the new center. Dealing specifically with disputes involving juveniles, the students enrolled in the Juvenile Justice course will practice mediating disputes outside of court.
Professor Thomas Noble, who leads the Juvenile Justice course, said the program will have cases referred to them and will sit down with both parties to figure out whether the case is suitable to settle out of court. The students will then try to mediate a solution between both parties under the supervision of their professor.
