Collaborative Law Pioneer Bruce Peck on the Project about Reconciliation as Healing
Bruce Peck was one of the early adopters of collaborative law in Minneapolis. His last trial was in 1993. In this video, we meet Bruce and learn a bit about a new project being explored in Minneapolis: using collaborative lawyers in marriage reconciliation. He talks about reconciliation as healing and refers to Truth and Reconciliation and restorative justice as related approaches.
In Part 2: Bruce continues to talk about the developing reconciliation project and the requirement of a irretrievable breakdown as access to grapple with the issues of one spouse wanting to end the marriage when the other doesn't. He talks about opportunities for healing and synergy in the process.
